AR-GE ÇALIŞANLARININ BAKIŞ AÇISIYLA EVDEN ÇALIŞMA

Bu araştırmada, Ar-ge çalışanlarının bakış açısıyla, evden çalışmanın değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda evden çalışma olgusu, iş-özel yaşam dengesi, psikolojik iyi oluş, bağlılık, performans ve kariyer değerlendirme, özlük hakları, kaygı gibi başlıklar bağlamında çalışan algılarından yola çıkılarak tartışılmıştır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmış olup, veriler teknoloji ve inovasyon üreten uluslararası bir kurumun 210 Ar-ge çalışanından elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı kullanılarak, tanımlayıcı istatistiksel yöntemlerle analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, katılımcılar evden çalışmanın iş-özel yaşam dengesini pozitif anlamda etkilediğine yönelik görüş bildirmektedir. Ayrıca bulgular, evden çalışmanın stresi ve yorgunluğu azalttığını ve daha rahat çalışmayı sağladığını göstermektedir. Ancak, buna rağmen evden çalışma genel olarak bir avantaj olarak görülmemektedir. Evden çalışmada, çalışanlar işlerini aksatmadan yürütebilmekte ancak, iş verimliklerini daha düşük olarak algılamaktadırlar. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, katılımcılar imkan verildiği takdirde ara sıra evden çalışmaya devam etmek istediklerini belirtmektedir.

In this research, it is aimed to evaluate working from home from the perspective of R&D workers. For this purpose, the phenomenon of working from home has been discussed on the basis of employee perceptions in the context of topics such as work-private life balance, psychological well-being, commitment, performance and career evaluation, personal rights, and anxiety. Quantitative research method was used in the research, and the data were obtained from 210 R&D employees of an international institution that produces technology and innovation. The obtained data were analyzed with descriptive statistical methods using the SPSS program. According to the findings, the participants state that working from home affects the work-life balance positively. In addition, the findings show that working from home reduces stress and fatigue and makes working more comfortable. However, despite this, working from home is not generally seen as an advantage. In working from home, employees are able to carry out their work without interruption, but they perceive their work efficiency to be lower. According to the results of the research, the participants state that they would like to continue working from home for sometime, if given the opportunity.
