Atypical Chest Pain and Thoracic Disc Herniation: A Case Report

Abstract

Thoracic disk herniations are rare. Severe neurological deficits, atypical features and difficulties in the treatment make thoracic disc herniations important disorders. Herein, we report a case of twenty-four year-old woman with thoracic disc herniation presented with atypical chest pain. Herniation of thoracal disc should be kept in mind in the differential diagnosis of atypical chest pain.

Atipik Göğüs Ağrısı ve Torakal Disk Herniasyonu: Olgu Sunumu

Öz

Torakal disk herniasyonu nadir olarak görülmektedir. Neden olduğu nörolojik defisitlerin ağırlığı, atipik bulgularla seyretmesi ve tedavi zorlukları torakal disk herniasyonlarını önemli kılmaktadır. Burada 24 yaşında genç bir kadın hastada atipik göğüs ağrısıyla bulgu veren torakal disk herniasyonunu sunmaktayız. Atipik göğüs ağrılarında disk herniasyonları ayırıcı tanıda akılda tutulmalıdır.
