The genus Cirsium is highly polymorphic, and its members often show surprising variations. Cirsium sommieri, an endemic plant in eastern Türkiye, is one of them. An interesting population of Cirsium sommieri was examined morphologically. The distribution of the species in Türkiye was examined, and the samples were compared. And also, some morphological characters, such as leaves, involucre, phyllaries, and achene morphology, were examined comparatively. The geographical distribution of this species is given.
