EFFECTİVENESS OF SPORT PROGRAMS ON TELEVISION IN TERMS OF SPREADİNG OF SPORT IN SOCIETY
Abstract
The purpose of this stady to asses the effectiveness of sport, programs on TV in terms of spreading of sport in society. With this aim one week sport program of TRT - 1, CHANNEL D, ATV, STAR, SHOW TV and CHANNEL 6 were randomly selected to analyze. The rate of sport programs were 2.9 - 5.6% amoung all W programs. In distribution of sports programs alcording to branches; futboll had the bigges partion with 50.6 - 86.7 % It was concluded that TV sport programs hat not got enough in fluence to partici pafe sedantary people into sport.
