A Research About the Effect of Psychoeconomic Status on Work Motivation

This research contains an economic approach to human behavior; and the effect of employee’s psychoeconomic status on their attitudes at work has been searched. Psychoeconomic status can be defined as psychological state related to monetary issues. In this research, it has been aimed to determine the differences of demographic groups in terms of psychoeconomic status. The other purpose of this research is to determine the psycho-economic status’ effect on work motivation. The method of this experimental research is statistical scanning method. Aa a result of this research, a correlation found between work motivation and psychologic problems that is caused by financial matters. According to another finding of research, there is a significant difference between genders in case of living psychological problems and using medicine or treatment. Also, using medicine or treatment differs due to marital status.

Psikoekonomik Durumun İş Motivasyonuna Etkisi Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Öz

Bu çalışmada, insan davranışlarına ekonomik açıdan yaklaşılmış ve iş görenlerin psikoekonomik durumlarının iş yerindeki tutumlarına etkisi araştırılmıştır. Psikoekonomik durum, parasal konulara bağlı psikolojik durum olarak ifade edilebilir. Bu araştırmanın amaçlarından birisi, psikoekonomik durum açısından demografik özellik grupları arasındaki farklılıkların tespit edilmesidir. Araştırmanın ikinci amacı, psikoekonomik durumun iş motivasyonu üzerindeki etkilerinin ortaya konmasıdır. Bu deneysel çalışmada tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, parasal konulardan kaynaklanan psikolojik sorunlar ile iş motivasyonu arasında bir ilişki vardır. Araştırmanın diğer bulgularına göre, psikolojik sorunlar yaşama ve tedavi ya da ilaç kullanma ile ilgili ifadelere verilen cevaplarda cinsiyetler arasında anlamlı fark vardır. İlaveten, çalışanların psikolojik tedavi ya da ilaç kullanımları, evli ya da bekar olmalarına göre farklılaşmıştır.
