HYDATID CYST OF THE LEFT LUNG LOWER LOBE PRESENTING WITH ABDOMINAL PAIN

Öz

Hydatid cyst is a parasitic disease which is common in our country and it stil maintains its importance nowadays. In childhood, right lung involvement is more common and hydatid cyst causes symptoms such as fever, cough, chest pain, dyspnea and hemoptysis. We reported a 10-year-old patient who presented with abdominal pain and lesion in the posterior basal segment of the left lung lower lobe compatible with hydatid cyst in thorax CT and in whom cystectomy was performed. In conclusion, in cases presenting with abdominal pain in regions where hydatid disease is endemic, hydatid cyst of the lung should be kept in mind in differential diagnosis.

KARIN AĞRISI İLE SEYREDEN SOL AKCİĞER ALT LOB KİST HİDATİĞİ

Öz

Kist hidatik ülkemizde yaygın olarak görülen ve günümüzde de önemini koruyan paraziter bir hastalıktır. Çocukluk çağında sağ akciğer tutulumu daha sık görülür ve başlıca ateş, öksürük, göğüs ağrısı, dispne ve hemoptizi gibi belirtilere neden olur. Bu yazıda 10 yaşında karın ağrısı şikayeti ile başvuran ve toraks BT' de sol akciğer alt lob posterobazal segmentte kist hidatik ile uyumlu lezyon tespit edilen ve kistektomi uygulanan bir olguya yer verdik. Sonuç olarak kist hidatik hastalığının endemik olduğu bölgelerde, karın ağrısı yakınmasıyla başvuran olgularda ayırıcı tanıda akciğer kist hidatik'i akılda bulundurulmalıdır.
