Isolated Renal Trauma Caused by Gunshot Injury

Kidney injuries are the most frequently seen injuries of the urinary system. Specifically
penetrating renal injuries are clinically very important since they can be life-threatening. Most of penetrating renal injuries are caused by gunshot. The anterior surface of each kidney is anatomically related to many vital organs. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to determine with imaging methods whether the kidneys and surrounding organs are injured or not. Admitted to the emergency department because of gunshot wounds (ASY) 43-year-old female patient isolated renal injury was determined. In this case penetrate the body from the back of the firearm bullets (ASMÇ), to hang around the kidneys without any other wounds in the abdomen and abdominal organs is presented as a treatment option in rare cases due to the conservative approach.
