Ebu Cehil (Calligonum Polygonoides L. Ssp. Comosum (L’Hér.) Çalısının Yıllık Yem Değerinin Belirlenmesi

Öz

Bu çalışma, Türkiye’nin doğusunda (Iğdır ilinde) doğal florada kendiliğinden yetişen Ebu Cehil çalısının yıl içerisindeki (Nisan–Ekim 2013) yem değerinin değişimini belirlemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Kimyasal analizler sonucunda Ebu Cehil çalısının aylara göre besin içeriği önemli farklılık göstermiştir. Mevcut çalışmada Ebu Cehil çalısının yıllık ortalama ham protein (HP), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acide detergent fiber (ADF), acide detergent lignin (ADL), kuru madde sindirilebilirliği (KMS), sindirilebilir enerji (SE) ve metabolik enerji (ME) değerleri, sırasıyla 141.8 g/kg, 496.0 g/kg, 319.8 g/kg, 106.8 g/kg, % 63.18, 2.97 Mcal/kg, 2.44 Mcal/kg olarak tespit edilmiştir. Ebu Cehil çalısının olgunlaşmayla birlikte HP, KMS, SE ve ME miktarlarının azaldığı, NDF, ADF ve ADL oranlarının ise artığı belirlenmiştir. Buna göre sürgünlerin HP, KMS, SE ve ME oranları en yüksek Nisan ayında (sırasıyla 252.9 g/kg, % 76.98, 3.56 Mcal/kg ve 2.92 Mcal/kg), en düşük ise Ekim ayında (sırasıyla 75.4 g/kg, % 54.35, 2.59 Mcal/kg ve 2.13 Mcal/kg) çıkmıştır. Oysa NDF, ADF ve ADL oranları en yüksek Ekim ayında (sırasıyla 599.7 g/kg, 393.2 g/kg ve 127.8 g/kg), en düşük değerler ise Nisan ayında (sırasıyla 384.8 g/kg, 209.0 (Çizelgede 209.0) g/kg ve 83.1 g/kg) belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuçlara göre Ebu Cehil çalısının ilave bir yemlemeye gereksinim duyulmadan özellikle küçükbaş hayvan beslenmesinde kullanılabileceği ortaya konulmuştur.
