HASTANELERDE BİNA YÖNETİMİNİN SAĞLIK ÇALIŞANLARININ GÖRÜŞLERİ AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ: BİR ÖLÇEK GELİŞTİRME ÇALIŞMASI

Öz

Hastaneler çok kompleks yapılar olup günün 24 saati faaliyet gösteren, birçok farklı departmanın bir arada koordinasyonlu olarak çalıştığı mekanlardır. Bunun yanı sıra hastaneler, devamlı olarak sosyal, ekonomik ve tıbbi değişikliklerle karşı karşıya kalan yapılardır. Bu kadar karmaşık bir yapıya sahip olan ve yaşanan değişimlere anında cevap veren bir organizasyonu yönetmek kolay değildir. Hastane bina yönetimi, karmaşık olan bu yapıyı yönetme sanatıdır. Bina yönetimi, hastaneyi bir bütün olarak ele alıp, her bir birimin girdisinden çıktısına kadar olan tüm sürecin işleyişini yönetmektir. Bina yönetimi, sağlık yönetimi alanında fazla ilgi görmemiş, günümüz de yeni popülerlik kazanmaya başlayan bir konudur. Bu çalışma Türkçe literatürüne sağlık kuruluşlarında bina yönetiminin değerlendirilmesine yönelik bir ölçek kazandırma amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma örneklemini, Elazığ ilinde bulunan bir şehir hastanesinin çalışanları oluşturmaktadır. Öncelikle, bina yönetiminin değerlendirmesine yönelik literatür araştırmasından sonra ölçekle ilgili madde havuzu oluşturulmuştur. Madde havuzu, uzman görüşüne sunulmuş ve sonrasında hedef kitleden bir grupla tartışılmıştır. İlerleyen adımda ise pilot uygulama yapılmıştır. Pilot uygulamadan elde edilen ham veriler; betimleyici testler, güvenilirlik testi, "madde-toplam korelasyonu testi", “alt-üst %27 fark testi", “keşfedici faktör analizi” ve "doğrulayıcı faktör analizi" ile analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, ölçeğin iki faktörden oluştuğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu iki faktör, toplam varyansın %50,54’nü oluşturmaktadır. Ölçeğin güvenilirlik katsayısı ise %0,927 hesaplanmıştır. Ölçeğin geçerli ve güvenilir olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The Examination of Building Management in the Hospitals from Healthcare Professionals' Perspectives

Öz

Hospitals are areas in which various departments works in coordination and are complex structures which operates for 24 hours per diem. Besides that hospitals are structures continuously facing with social, economic and medical changes. İt is not easy to manage such a complex organization that is responsive to encountered changer instantly. Hospital facility management is the art of administering this intricate structure. Facility management takes hospital as a whole in hand and it is the administration of operation of the whole process from input to out put of every unit. Facility management which hasn’t drawn much attention but nowadays it is becoming a popular field. This study was conducted with the aim of developing a scale for the evaluation of building management in health institutions in order to contribute to the field. The research sample consists of employees of a city hospital in Elazig province. Primarily, a pool of items for the scale was generated after the literature review for the evaluation of building management. The item pool was reviewed by experts and then discussed with a group of representatives from the target population. In the following step, pilot implementation was conducted. Raw data obtained from pilot implementation was analyzed with descriptive tests, reliability test, "item-total correlation test", "upper-lower 27% difference test", “exploratory factor analysis” and "confirmatory factor analysis". As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the scale consisted of two factors. These 2 factors explain 50.54% of the total variance. The reliability coefficient of the scale was calculated to be 0.927. The results confirmed the validity and reliability of the scale.
