Examining the hadith based on the period of the near future to its source is a difficult activity as it has limited sources, in terms of resources. However, with these difficulties, the practices provided on the hadith in the near future to the source and hadith-related assumptions may form the basis of the hadith. The Companions’ attitudes about the hadith immediately after the death of Hz. Prophet is decisive in terms of the hadith studies. Hz. Abu Bakr, who became one of the firsts when Hz. Prophet promulgated Islam, had important cooperation with Hz. Prophet by supporting him. This solidarity continued until the death of Hz. Prophet. From this perspective, Hz. Abu Bakr's practices and acceptance of hadith are extremely significant. The practices of the first caliph during that period in which the effect of Nebevî continued, have extra special importance as it contains Hz. Prophet's practices and traces. The issues such as how Hz. Abu Bakr evaluated the hadith in terms of evidence, what attitude he had about narrating, how much hadith he narrated, and what he did about the hadith during his caliphate reveal his attitude towards the hadith. These issues determined during his caliphate can also be accepted as the starting point of the various elements and general assumptions in the hadith. From this point of view, we will try to present sections from the practices of Hz. Abu Bakr regarding hadith.
