Gossip has been discussed as a matter when
it comes to religion, tradition and ethics. Studies issuing gossip as a concept
in management are novel. Gossip, occurring in a certain group as a sincere
communication at past, has gained importance and so been reshaped by media such
as Facebook and Twitter. Gossip has
turned out to be an activity, affecting the behaviors of communities as a part
of their lives. All the activities, performed by certain groups which have been
created with a specific aim through electronic devices used on
the underground, on the train, on the bus or at home and at workplace is
somewhat gossip. Today gossip, dominating the attitudes of workers, has become
a significant issue both in politics and management. It is understood that this
issue is of both advantages and disadvantages as to personal and organizational
dimensions.
