NICOTINE REPLACEMENT THERAPY DURING PREGNANCY

Öz

Smoking during and after pregnancy poses a serious risk to the health of both mother and baby. Prevalence of smoking in pregnant women in world wide was 9% -42% and 30% of pregnant women succeed in stopping smoking during pregnancy without pharmacological support. However, all experts recommend the use of nicotine replacement therapy if pregnant women do not succeed, or have previously failed in an attempt to quit.The aim of this article was reviewed in research these topic: safety ofnicotine replacement therapy during pregnancy NRT , efficiency of NRT, attitude of health professionals use of NRT, acceptability of NRT products during pregnancy

GEBELİKTE NİKOTİN REPLASMAN TEDAVİSİ

Öz

Gebelik boyunca ve sonrasında sigara içiminin hem anne hem de bebek sağlığı üzerine ciddi riskleri bulunmaktadır. Dünyada gebelerin sigara içme prevelansı %9-42 olmakla birlikte, bu gebelerin%30’u farmakolojik destek olmadan sigarayı bırakabilmektedir. Bununla birlikte sigarayı bırakmadabaşarısız olan veya daha önce bırakmayı denemiş ve başarısızlıkla sonuçlanmış gebelerde uzmanlar nikotin replasman tedavisinin kullanımını önermektedir. Bu makalenin amacı; gebelikte nikotin replasman tedavisinin NRT etkinliği, güvenilirliği, gebelikte NRT kullanımına sağlık çalışanlarının yaklaşımı ve gebelikte NRT nin kabul edilebilirliği ile ilgiliyapılmış çalışmaların incelenmesidir
