Objective: The aim of the study was to determine the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on women's attitudes toward family planning.
Material-Method: The descriptive-relationship-seeking study was conducted with 246 women. Data were collected with a questionnaire and the Attitude Scale towards Family Planning. Number, percentage distributions, t-tests for independent groups, and multiple linear regression analysis were used for statistical analyses.
Results: It was found that the frequency of Family Planning (FP) use decreased after the pandemic (previously; 83.3%; post-pandemic: 79.0%), there were problems in accessing FP services during the pandemic (13.8%), individuals stopped using the FP method (17.5%), and there were unintended pregnancies (5.2%) and related abortions (1.6%). The factors that negatively affect women's attitudes towards FP are that they have a large family type are not working and increase the ideal number of children (p<0.05).
Conclusion: It has been determined that there is a difference in the use of AP during the pandemic process. Since FP services are an important health service, it is important that they continue uninterrupted in acute situations and that individuals develop a positive attitude towards them.
