İkiz Merdaneli Döküm Yönteminde St/Cu Shell Çifti İle Üretilen 5005 Alüminyum Alaşımlarının Üretim Parametreleri, Mekanik Özellikleri ve Mikroyapılarının İncelenmesi

Öz

Bu çalışma, yassı mamül üretim yöntemlerinden biri olan ikiz merdaneli döküm yönteminde katılaşmanın meydana geldiği merdaneler üzerine gerçekleştirilmiştir. Katılaşmanın meydana geldiği merdaneler kor ve shell olmak üzere iki bileşenden oluşmaktadır ve kor ile shell arasında dolaşan su ile de shell malzemesi soğutulmaktadır. Shell ile kor malzemesi birbirine sıkı geçme yöntemiyle geçirilmektedir. Döküm merdaneler katılaşma esnasında yüksek yüklere ve termal çevrime maruz kaldığından yaygın olarak shell malzemesi olarak alaşımlı dövme çelik kullanılmaktadır. Bakır elementinin çeliğe nazaran ısıl iletkenlik katsayısı çok daha yüksek olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu nedenle hem katılaşmanın hızlı gerçekleşmesi hemde productivite artışı gibi malzeme ve üretimi etkileyen özelliklerden dolayı çelik yerine bakır shell malzemesi de endüstriyel olarak kulanılmaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında, alaşımlı çelik/çelik shell yerine, üst merdanede çelik alt merdanede ise berilyum alaşımlı dövme bakır shell çifti kullanılmış ve bu shell çiftinin 5005 alüminyum alaşımı üretimindeki parametreler, mikroyapılar ve mekanik özelliklerine etkisi incelenmiştir.

Öz

This study was carried out on the rollers where solidification occurs in the twin-roll casting method, which is one of the flat product production methods. The rollers where solidification occurs consist of two components, core and shell, and the shell material is cooled by water circulating between the core and shell. The shell and the core material are connected to each other using a shrink-fitting method. Since cast rolls are exposed to high loads and thermal cycles during solidification, alloy forged steel is commonly used as the shell material. It is known that the copper element has a much higher thermal conductivity coefficient than steel. For this reason, copper shell material can be used industrially instead of steel due to the properties that affect the material and production, such as rapid solidification and increase in productivity. In this thesis study, instead of alloy steel/steel shell, a steel shell pair was used in the upper roll and a beryllium alloy forged copper shell pair was used in the lower roll, and the effects of this shell pair on the parameters, microstructures and mechanical properties in the production of 5005 aluminum alloy were examined.
