A q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy CRITIC-WISP Model with a Parameterised Rectified Score for Maintenance-Oriented Prioritisation of Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Inverter Faults
Öz
Grid-connected photovoltaic inverters are major reliability-limiting components in solar power plants, whereas the classical risk priority number combines occurrence, severity and detection in a crisp product and cannot represent uncertainty in qualitative evidence. This study develops a maintenance-oriented q-rung orthopair fuzzy (q-ROF) CRITIC-WISP framework with a parameterised rectified score that combines the conventional score and accuracy in one bounded scalar. The score is proved bounded and dominance-monotone and, for λ > 0, separates equal classical scores in favour of the more determinate assessment. The application extracts fifteen raw occurrence, severity and detectability ratings from a published inverter FMEA and converts them deterministically to the model scale. Four further entries are documented literature-anchored allocations, while twenty-one values form an explicitly labelled author-constructed practitioner extension. Power-switch short-circuit and DC-link capacitor degradation form the leading pair. Rectified-score WASPAS reproduces the ranking and TOPSIS closely agrees on the same matrix, indicating internal consistency rather than empirical validity. Resampling the author-constructed inputs leaves power-switch short-circuit uniquely first in only 53.1% of runs but the pair first in 95.0%, identifying a leading group rather than a single priority. The study is a methodological and illustrative framework, not a validated plant-specific maintenance schedule.
