Journal of Veterinary Medicine-Harran University (e-ISSN: 2146-7188) is the periodic, peer-reviewed, open-access, official scientific publication organ of Harran University. Our journal, which started its publication life in 2012, has been published for the public free of charge and with open access; starting from the 2025 issue 2; it has also included the CC-BY-NC 4.0 license in all published articles. It is published four times a year; in March, June, September and December in English. Starting from 01.01.2025, only articles written in English have begun to be accepted.

Fundamentally; primarily comprising the field of Veterinary Medicine, original clinical and experimental research, case reports, reviews, short scientific articles, and letters to the editor type studies prepared in English covering human and animal health are published.
Our journal evaluates articles with the double-blind peer review principle.
Journal of Harran Veterinary Science is an open access journal, meaning articles can be accessed free of charge in accordance with BOAI's definition of open access.

As the journal editorial board; Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) standards are adopted.
