HASTA GÜVENLİĞİ KÜLTÜRÜ VE HEMŞİRELİK

Öz

Sağlik hizmetleri, girdi ve çiktisinda insani merkeze alan, birçok yapi ve sürecin birbiri ile ilişkili bir şekilde, ileri teknoloji, uzmanlik gerektiren tekniklerin kullanildiği, farkli disiplinlerin bir arada bulunarak ekip çalişmasinin önemini vurgulayan, yüksek riskli hizmetler grubunu oluşturmaktadir. Sağlik bakim hizmetlerinde görev alan hemşireler, sayisal çoğunluğunun yani sira hastaya en yakin olan sağlik meslek grubu olmalari nedeniyle hasta güvenliğinin ve güvenlik kültürünün geliştirilmesi açisindan önemli bir role sahiptir. Bu çalişmanin amaci, sağlik hizmetleri sunumunda hemşirelerin hasta güvenliği kültürünü içeren ulusal ve uluslararasi hasta güvenliği uygulamalari ile hasta güvenliği kültürünün geliştirilme stratejileri detayli olarak incelenerek hasta güvenliği kültürü kavraminin önemini vurgulamaktir.

PATIENT SAFETY CULTURE AND NURSING

Öz

Health care services constitute a group of high-risk services that emphasise the importance of teamwork by combining different disciplines and emphasising the importance of teamwork, which puts people at the centre in its input and output, where many structures and processes are interrelated, advanced technology and techniques requiring expertise are used. Nurses working in health care services have an important role in terms of improving patient safety and safety culture since they are the closest health professional group to the patient as well as the numerical majority. The aim of this study is to emphasise the importance of the concept of patient safety culture by examining in detail national and international patient safety practices and patient safety culture improvement strategies involving the patient safety culture of nurses in the provision of health care services.
