Aristoteles’te Yanlış Öncüllerle Kıyas Geçerliliğinin Denetlemesi

Öz

Bu çalışmada, Aristoteles’in yanlış öncüllerden yola çıkarak vermiş olduğu denetlemenin nasıl bir denetleme olduğu, bu denetleme ile hangi sonuçlara ulaşmayı hedeflediğini araştıracağım. Aristoteles’in bu denetlemelerini Analytica Priora II 2., 3. ve 4. bölümlerinde gerçekleştirdiğini görüyoruz. Öncüllerin yanlış yahut tamamen yanlış alınarak geçerli formlarını incelemesini yalnız Barbara ve Celarent formları üzerinden değerlendireceğim. Buna müteakip tüm formların denetlemesini ise bir tablo ile verecek, sonuçta Aristoteles’in niçin yanlış öncülleri ele alarak, neden böyle bir denetleme yapma gereksinimi duyduğunu inceleyeceğim.

Aristotle’s Testing Syllogism Validity from False Aristotle’s Testing Syllogism Validity from False Premises

Öz

In this paper, I will investigate what kind of testing Aristotle has extended from false premises and what consequences he aims to achieve. We see that these testings in sections 2., 3., 4. of Analytica Priora II. I will evaluate valid forms Barbara and Celarent when the premises were taken false or wholly false. Hereby, I will give a table with all the valid forms testing. Finally, I will examine why Aristotle need for such a testing form with false premises.
