Dijital Gazetecilik Akademisi Üzerine Bir Araştırma: Newslabturkey.Org Örneği

Öz

İletişim teknolojilerinin gelişimi ile habercilik anlayışı dijital bir boyut kazanmıştır. Habercilik pratikleri dijital ortama aktarılmış, toplumda yaşanan gelişmeler bireylere dijital mecralarda sunulmaya başlanmıştır. Bu anlamda dijital gazetecilik yapan kurumların, bağımsız gazetecilerin ve dijital medyaya ilgi duyan herkesin dijital gelişmelerden haberdar olmaları, teknik birtakım bilgi ve becerilere sahip olması gerekmektedir. Habercilik alanında yaşanan gelişmeleri medya alanında yer alan bireylere aktarmak için dijital gazetecilik akademileri kurulmaya başlanmıştır. Bu çalışma da Türkiye’de 2018 yılında kurulan dijital habercilik akademisi newslabturkey.org’un habercilik alanına sunduğu eğitim içeriklerini konu edinmiştir. Habercilik alanında paylaşılan gönderiler nicel ve nitel içerik analizi ile irdelenmiş, içeriklerin büyük bir kısmının dijital alanda haberciliğe dair yapılması gerekenler, yeni teknolojilerin kullanımına ilişkin paylaşımlar olduğu görülmüştür. Gazetecilik alanında Batı ülkelerinde geliştirilen yeni uygulamalar üzerine yazılan metinler Türkçeye çevrilerek aktarılmış, çalışmada, newslabturkey.org’un gazetecilik eğitimi anlamında oldukça bilgilendirici ve faydalı metinler sunarak haberciliğin daha profesyonel bir şekilde icra edilmesi adına içerikler ürettiği saptanmıştır.

A Research on the Digital Journalism Academy: The Case of Newslabturkey.Org

Öz

With the development of communication technology, journalism has gained a digital dimension. The practices of journalism have been digitalized and the developments in society have begun to be presented to individuals in digital media. In this sense, digital journalists, independent journalists and anyone interested in digital media should be aware of digital developments and have some technical knowledge and skills. Digital journalism academies have been established to transfer the developments in journalism to the individuals in the media. This study aimed to assert the contents of the digital journalism training academy offered to the journalism field newslabturkey.org founded in 2018 in Turkey. The items shared in the field of journalism were analyzed with quantitative and qualitative content analysis, and a large part of the content had to be done about digital journalism, and it was seen that there were shares related to the use of new technologies. The texts written on the new applications developed in the Western countries in the field of journalism have been translated into Turkish, in the study, it was found that newslabturkey.org produced content to make journalism more professional by presenting informative and useful texts in journalistic education.
