It is known that many factors are effective in social integration. Indeed religious education is one of them. Although the fields of activity of religious education are wide, it is carried out with Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge course in addition to elective religion courses in formal education institutions. In this study, which aims to examine secondary school DKAB textbooks from the perspective of social integration, document analysis method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used and the research was designed with a case study. 4 DKAB textbooks taught in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades of Secondary School and Imam Hatip Secondary Schools in 2019 constitute the data sources of the research. Content analysis approach was preferred in the analysis of the research data. In this research, which is considered important for the literature due to the scarcity of scientific studies on the relationship between religious education and social integration in the literature, answers were sought to the following questions: Are the contents of the secondary school DKAB textbooks prepared in accordance with the objectives stated in the curriculum and thought to be related to social integration? Do the textbooks include unifying and integrating themes through the subjects of religion, belief, worship and morality? As a result of the research, it is seen that the information included in some units and subject headings of the DKAB textbooks directly or implicitly contains unifying and integrative messages, and these messages are presented especially on the subjects related to belief, worship and morality.
