İNTRAOKÜLER METASTAZA BAĞLI SEMPTOMLARLA BAŞVURAN AKCİĞER KANSERİ OLGUSU

Öz

Daha önce malign tümor nedeniyle tedavi edilen hastalarda, uzun bir süre sonra oküler metastaz gelişebilir. Olgumuzda ise oküler semptomlar sistemik bir malignitenin ilk bulgusu olarak rapor edilmişitir. 49 yaşında erkek olgu, sol gözünde görme kaybı ve kızarıklık yakınması ile göz hastalıkları uzmanına başvurmuştu. Oftalmolojik ve radyolojik incelemeler intraoküler bir tümörün varlığını göstermiş ve kitle görünümü nedeniyle intraoküler metastaz olarak değerlendirilmişti. Akciğer radyogramında sağ orta zonda kitle lezyonu izlendi. Kliniğimizde yapılan bronkoskopik biyopsi sonucu küçük hücreli akciğer kanseri tanısı aldı. Ek olarak, karaciğerinde metastaz saptandı. Kemoterapi ve sonrasında göze uygulanan radyoterapi ile tedavi edildi.

CASE OF LUNG CANCER APPLIED WITH SYMPTOMS OF INTRAOCULAR METASTASIS

Abstract

Ocular metastasis can develop after a long time in patients who were previously treated for malignant tumors. In our case ocular symptoms were reported as the first sign of a systemic malignancy. A 49- year-old man complaining of redness and visual impairment of his left eye had visited an ophthalmologist. His ophthalmic and radiologic examination had shown the presence of an intraocular tumor and diagnosed as having intraocular metastasis with apperance of the mass. The chest roentgenogram showed a mass of the right middle zone. In our clinic, small cell lung cancer diagnosis was given by bronchoscopic punch biopsies. In addition, a metastasis in the liver was found. He was treated with chemotherapy and then with radiotherapy to the eye.
