EFOR DİSPNESİNİN NADİR NEDENİ: SWYER JAMES (MC LEOD) SENDROMU

Öz

Swyer James ya da Mc Leod Sendromu; unilateral hiperlüsen akciğer, hacim kaybı, mediastinal şift ve etkilenen tarafta daha küçük hiler gölge izlenmesi ile karakterize nadir bir hastalıktır. Pulmoner emboli, perfüzyon bozukluğu yapan diğer hastalıklar ve efor dispnesi yapan bazı hava yolu hastalıkları ile karışabilir. Bir kaç yıldır başka merkezlerde astım tanısı ile takip edilen 41 yaşında kadın olgu Swyer James Sendromu tanısı ile literatür bilgileri eşliğinde tartışıldı.

THE RARE CAUSE OF EFFORT DYSPNEA: SWYER JAMES (MC LEOD) SYNDROME

Abstract

Swyer James or Mc Leod Syndrome is a rare disease characterized by abnormal hyperlucency of one lung, loss of volume, mediastinal shift and smaller hilum shadow in affected side on chest radiography. It can be confused with pulmonary embolism, other diseases performing abnormal perfusion and some airway diseases causing efort dispnea. A 41-year-old woman who has been pursuing by other clinics with the diagnosis of asthma for a few years was discussed with the knowledge of literature with the diagnosis of Swyer James Syndrome.
