PRIMARY PULMONARY LYMPHOMA

Abstract

Primary pulmonary lymphoma is rare seen. These tumors are clinical nonspesific. It is detected in x-ray films by chance generally. A 57 year-old woman with dispnea in two years was admitted to our hospital. Thorax computed tomography showed pleural effusion in left pleura and masses of soft tissue to posterior. The patıent was admıtted to our clinic and was performed videothoracoscopy and left thoracotomy for diagnose and treatment. The histopathological examination of the pleural effusion and soft tissue biopsy was reported low grade non hodgkin lymphoma. The patient in postoperatively was discharged to the hematology clinic and was performed six cure chemotherapy. The patient was controlled 35th months and was asemptomatic. Histopathologic type is the major effect on prognosis. Lenfomas have best prognosis and good survival. A case of the primary pulmonary lymphoma was occasionally seen presented with the review of the literature.

AKCİĞERİN PRİMER LENFOMASI

Öz

Akciğerin primer lenfoması nadir görülür. Klinik olarak non-spesifiktirler. Genellikle başka bir amaçtan dolayı çekilen akciğer grafileri ile tespit edilirler. Olgumuz 57 yaşında kadın hasta, 2 yıldır nefes darlığı şikayeti mevcuttu. Toraks bilgisayarlı tomografisinde solda plörezi ve plevrada posterior bölgede yumuşak dokuda kitle lezyonları izlendi. Plevral effüzyon ön tanısıyla tetkikleri sonrası tanı ve tedavi amacıyla kliniğimize yatırılan olguya videotorakoskopi ve sol mini torakotomi uygulandı. Histopatolojisi düşük dereceli non hodgkin lenfoma olarak rapor edildi. Postoperatif dönemde hematoloji kliniğine nakil verildi. Toplam 6 kür kemoterapi uygulanan hasta 35. ay kontrolünde, asemptomatık idi. Prognozu etkileyen tek faktör tümörün histopatolojik tipidir. Lenfomalar prognozu iyi, uzun sağkalıma sahip tümörlerdir. Nadir görülmesi nedeniyle akciğerin primer lenfomasını literatür eşliğinde sunmayı amaçladık.
