Automation of the Two Stage Biodiesel Production Process / İki Aşamalı Biyodizel Üretim Süreci Otomasyonu

Öz

The control of the biodiesel production plays an important role on achieving the production standard of the biodiesel. The quality of the produced biodiesel depends on the raw materials, alcohol and catalyst selections and process and storage conditions. The control of the biodiesel production not only enables to achieve high quality biodiesel but also maintains the continuity of the product quality. In this work, an automation system for a two stage biodiesel production is designed and realized. A PLC (Programing Logic Control) based system is used for this purpose. The designed and realized biodiesel production facility enables to produce biodiesel using either a single stage or a two stage process. The quality of the biodiesels separately produced using a single stage and a two stage process are analysed and compared. The analysis results show that a two stage biodiesel production process gives better results compared to the single stage in fuel density, viscosity and flash point. Özet: Biyodizel üretimi kontrol biyodizel üretim standardı ulaşmada önemli bir rol oynar. Üretilen biyodizelin kaliteli hammadde, alkol ve katalizör seçimleri ve süreç ve depolama koşullarına bağlıdır. Biyodizel üretiminde sadece kontrol kaliteli biyodizel elde etmek için olanak değil, aynı zamanda ürün kalitesinin sürekliliğini sağlar. Bu çalışmada, iki aşamalı bir biyodizel üretimi için bir otomasyon sistemi tasarlanmış ve gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bir PLC (Programlama Logic Control) tabanlı sistem, bu amaçla kullanılır. Tasarlanmış ve gerçekleşen biyodizel üretim tesisi, tek bir sahne ya da iki aşamalı bir süreç kullanarak biyodizel üretmek için olanak sağlar. Dizellerden kalitesi ayrıca, tek bir sahne ve analiz ve karşılaştırılmıştır iki aşamalı bir işlem kullanılarak üretilen. Analiz sonuçları iki aşamalı bir biyodizel üretim süreci, yakıt yoğunluk, viskozite ve parlama noktası tek aşamaya oranla daha iyi sonuçlar verdiğini göstermektedir.
