KLASİK KEMENÇE TAKSİM İCRASINDA MAKAM VE KOMPOZİSYON ALGISI ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME: RUŞEN FERİT KAM

Ruşen Ferit Kam, Türk Müziğine yapmış olduğu hizmetlerin yanında, klasik kemençe icracılığında da önemli bir konumda kabul edilmektedir. Tanburi Cemil Ekolü’nün klasik kemençe ve taksim formu icrasında yarattığı kırılma dönemi, Ruşen Ferit Kam’ın da musiki hayatında kırılma noktası olmuştur. Bu anlamda çalışma, Tanburi Cemil ekolüyle kendini yetiştiren Kam’ın, taksim icralarındaki kompozisyon unsurlarını ve makam algısını somut verilerle ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda, icracının üç adet taksimi üzerinden makam analizi, motif ve cümle kurguları incelenmiştir. Kemençe icralarıyla kendisini Tanburi Cemil ekolüne adamış Ruşen Ferit Kam’ı bağımsız bir üslup olarak ele almanın, icrasındaki kurgusal altyapıyı eksik bırakacağı düşünülmüştür. Bu nedenle ekolün etkileri de göz önünde bulundurularak çalışma bu çerçeve doğrultusunda yapılmıştır.

Ruşen Ferit Kam is considered to hold a significant position in classical kemençe (a type of Turkish stringed instrument) performance, in addition to his contributions to Turkish music. The period of upheaval created by the Tanburi Cemil School in classical kemençe and taksim (improvisation) performance was also a turning point in Ruşen Ferit Kam's musical life. In this context, this study aims to reveal, with concrete data, the compositional elements and modal perception in Kam's taksim performances, given his training within the Tanburi Cemil school. In this regard, a modal analysis, motif and phrase structures are examined through three of the performer's taksims. It was considered that treating Ruşen Ferit Kam, who dedicated himself to the Tanburi Cemil school in his kemençe performances, as an independent style would leave an incomplete understanding of the structural foundation of his performance. Therefore, the study was conducted within this framework, taking into account the influences of the school.
