A Sampling About For Economic Pipe Diameter Calculation

Öz

Pumps are widely used in our homes, buildings, industrial applications, agriculture, water supply and many other applications, even though we are not aware of them. When designing a pump system, it is necessary to compare different solutions to choose the most efficient system. And to find the most innovative solution, some basic facts must be revealed. As a result of the experimental work, the loss efficiency are calculated with the aid of the determined pressure deductions taking into consideration the flow direction for the flat pipes, valves and fittings (elbows, nipples, cuffs, record, curve, reduction and TE transitional elements) it is calculated and presented in tables. This work is prepared to be an example of industrial applications. Distance and distance units have been selected in a minimal manner and the selection of pipe and pump is based on the values of a private company. In this study, a program was developed to determine the optimum diameters of the pipes that allow the water from the plant to be transported for a certain distance. Galvanized pipes were used in the study. The least-lost diameters and the lowest economic costs were calculated for these pipes. At First, pipe losses, distance and pipe prices were calculated and afterwards the area with the least inclination in this chart was searched. The most suitable pump was selected by examining the flow-distance graphs for the pump of the private company about the selected region.
