Sanitas Magisterium is an open access, on-line journal that aims to publish complete and reliable information on the discoveries and current developments in the fields of Health Education and Administration.

This journal is freely available worldwide upon publication. It publishes research manuscripts in the field of education and administration.
Various types of submissions are welcome, such as original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc.

The type of works published in this journal comprise those pertaining to all aspects of health services research in the field of education and administration including the delivery of care, the administration of health services, health care education, assessments of healthcare needs, the measurement of outcomes, the allocation of healthcare resources, evaluations of different health markets and health services organizations, international comparative analyses of health systems, health economics and the impact of health policies and regulations, and all aspects of meta-analytical studies, theoretical models, discussions, empirical researches.

Among the main topics of interest on which this journal focuses are stress management and prevention, mental health education, drug and alcohol use, physical activity and healthy eating, health literacy and health coaching, healthy schools, health promotion in the workplace, childhood immunization, E-health education, smoking cessation, safe schools, sexual harassment, and oral health education.

The main object of the journal is to become a forum for educators and administrators. In this way, it is aimed to contribute to the literature of National and International Educational and that of Administrative Sciences.

The editors particularly welcome submissions on:

  • Administrative perspectives on health education and its institutional development in all business and management disciplines;
  • Structural changes in how the financial and administrative aspects of the health sector are taught as well as the changing roles of health administration educators;
  • How business and administration programs are related to employers’ needs; and
  • The globalization of business and administration education.

- The font used in the entire manuscript should be Times New Roman, font size 10. For tables and figures, see below. 

- Page margins for bottom, top, right, and left should be pre-set as 0.98 inch. Text should be justified with no hyphenation breaks in words at the end of a line.

- Text should be typed as a single-column document.

- Paragraphs and headings should not be indented, but aligned with the main text.

- Paragraph indents should be pre-set in the tabs section as follows: before and after: 6 pt - line spacing: 1.5

- Manuscripts prepared in compliance with the guidelines should not exceed 25 pages (10.000 words).

- Article titles should be boldfaced and centered.

- Abstracts should be between 150–200 words (max.300). No citations should appear in the abstract.

- 5–8 words representing the manuscript should be given as keywords.

- Qualitative and quantitative studies should contain the following sections: Introduction, Method, Findings, and Discussion.

- The Methods section must include Sampling/Study Population, Data Collection Tools, and Procedure as subsections if an original research method has been used.

- Literature reviews should elaborate on the problem, analyze the relevant literature, emphasize the gaps and inconsistencies in the literature, and discuss actions toward solving these problems.

- Other types of studies can allow slight variations in sections, but they should not contain too many details and sub-sections that could distract readers’ attention and compromise readability.

- Both in-text citations and references should comply with the APA guidelines as provided in the Publication Manual of American Psychological Association (APA) (6th edition).

- Tables, figures, pictures, graphics, and similar aspects should be embedded in the text, and not provided as appendices.

- For tables and figures, use Times New Roman, font size 9.

- Under the Paragraph tab, ensure that the indentation is as follows:  before and after: 0 - spacing: Single

- Tables and figures should be left aligned, and the text wrapping feature should be turned off.
