There is no doubt that observation is a crucial aspect of teacher development. Numerous researchers have demonstrated how positively observation enhances teachers' competencies and professional develop-ment. Even though most observation research focuses on peer observation, trainer observation, or self-observation, it often overlooks one critical viewpoint, which of students. Since students constitute the main stakehold-ers in the learning process, their views and feedback on teaching should be at the center of any consideration of teaching quality and effectiveness. Therefore, this case study fills the gap by comparing student feedback with trainer observation feedback and teacher self-reflection. Data for the in-vestigation were gathered through observational tools, interview tran-scripts, and teacher reflective notes. The analysis determined if commonly accepted practices in teaching correspond with student experience and learning outcomes, from these perspectives. In doing so, student feedback provides a much more holistic way of approaching teacher development through their involvement in the observation and feedback process.
