THE TOOLS- PROMISES-DISCOURSES IN THE MARKETING OF ARCHITECTURAL PRODUCT:SAMPLE OF RESIDENCE BUILDINGS IN TRABZON
Öz
The production of housing buildings that meet one of the most basic needs of human beings, responds to changing needs has accelerated the competitive environment in the housing sector. With the development of communication technology, the understanding of marketing has also changed and the importance of marketing strategies has increased. Today, when competition is increasing due to the variety of architectural products, with the demands and needs of the consumer becoming more prominent, new lifestyles for the consumer have begun to be produced. In this sense, residences are one of the architectural examples of this change. At this stage communication tools, their used forms used and promises is very effective in the sale of the product. The aim of study is discussed in the marketing process of the architectural product what the written and visual communication tools are used , their usage forms, promises and discourses made in user. Residence buildings in Trabzon, which has a rapid urbanization process and which is a metropolitan city, are discussed. In addition the study is being a guide about a strong marketing process and provides information about user requests to the architects. The study showed that especially today in there is a understanding of marketing in which the tools of virtual communication are used effectively in architectural product marketing, through a relationship where "design and marketing" are intertwined.
