Contemporary Art Practices as a Resource for Kazakhstan's Integration into the Cultural Space of the Turkic World

Abstract

The article explores the current state and development of contemporary art practices in Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries in the context of their integration into the Turkic cultural space. The study of the historical and cultural heritage of Turkic peoples through the analysis of visual artefacts, archival materials and the latest artistic trends helps to determine their significance in world history and to understand their contribution to the contemporary socio− cultural development of the Turkic space. Contemporary art practices today embrace formats and technologies that were not previously associated with art. By restructuring and expanding the boundaries of art, fundamentally new principles, techniques and strategies are emerging. Contemporary art brings people of different countries closer together, promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding, while maintaining its authenticity and uniqueness. The art of Turkic countries is constantly evolving and strengthening its role as a bridge between different cultural expressions.
