Preeklampsi Tanısı Almış Gebelerde El Masajının Arteriyel Kan Basıncı, Nabız, Solunum ve Fetal Kalp Atım Hızı Üzerine Etkisinin Değerlendirilmesi: Randomize Bir Çalışma

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışma, el masajının preeklampsili kadınlarda maternal hayati bulgular ve fetal kalp hızı üzerindeki etkisini incelemiştir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu randomize kontrollü çalışmaya preeklampsi tanısı almış 32 gebe kadın dahil edilmiş ve katılımcılar 1:1 oranında müdahale grubuna (n = 16) veya kontrol grubuna (n = 16) atanmıştır. Veriler, katılımcı bilgi formu ve gebelik izlem formu kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Müdahale grubunda her bir ele 5 dakika süreyle el masajı uygulanmıştır. Maternal hayati bulgular ve fetal kalp hızı başlangıçta ve masajdan 10, 60 ve 90 dakika sonra kaydedilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde bağımsız örneklemler t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Sistolik kan basıncı açısından anlamlı bir grup etkisi saptanmamıştır. El masajı uygulanan katılımcılarda diyastolik kan basıncı zaman içinde azalmakla birlikte, nabız hızı, solunum sayısı ve fetal kalp hızında gözlenen değişimler küçüktü ve çoğu değerlendirmede gruplar arasında anlamlı farklılık göstermedi. Sonuç: Preeklampsili kadınlarda el masajı, maternal hayati bulgular ve fetal kalp hızında mütevazı ve geçici değişikliklerle ilişkili bulunmuştur. Rutin bakıma destekleyici, invaziv olmayan bir ek uygulama olarak değerlendirilebilir.

Evaluation of the effect of hand massage on arterial blood pressure, pulse, respiration and fetal heart rate in pregnant women diagnosed with preeclampsia: a randomized study

Öz

Aim: The present study investigated whether hand massage affects maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate among women with preeclampsia. Materials and Method: This randomized controlled trial enrolled 32 pregnant women with preeclampsia, who were allocated in a 1:1 ratio to the intervention group (n = 16) or the control group (n = 16). Data were obtained using a participant information and pregnancy follow-up form. In the intervention arm, hand massage was administered for 5 minutes to each hand. Maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate were recorded at baseline and at 10, 60, and 90 minutes after the massage. Statistical analyses were performed using the independent-samples t-test and one-way analysis of variance. Results: No significant group effect was identified for systolic blood pressure. Although diastolic blood pressure decreased over time among participants receiving hand massage, the observed changes in pulse rate, respiratory rate, and fetal heart rate were small and did not, in most cases, differ significantly across groups. Conclusion: Among women with preeclampsia, hand massage was associated with modest and transient changes in maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate. It may be considered a supportive, non-invasive adjunct to routine care.
