SINGING VOICE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED AMONG THE SINGING STUDENTS

Abstract

This study, which is done in order to identify the problems encountered in the singing students is a scanning model intended to identify the status. Population and sampling cover all students who major singing at the 12 conservatories in the academic year 2014-2015 in Turkey. The data of 368 students have been evaluated by applying the Turkish version of the index ,for the validity and reliability of Singing Voice Handicap Index, firstly to 73 female and 44 male, a total of 117 students from four universities, and then to 129 female and 122 male, a total of 251 students in order to determine the singing voice problems of singing students. The differences and the relationship among the SVHI values have been analyzed according to the level of voice problem, age, gender and class variables of the students who participated in the study. As a result of the study, significant differences were found in functional voice problems by gender (P=.022 .05). According to age groups, in terms of functional voice problems point among scores, significant differences between the 21-23 age groups were found (P = 0.005

ŞAN EĞİTİMİ ALANLARDA KARŞILAŞILAN ŞARKI SESİ SORUNLARI

Öz

Şan eğitimi alanlarda karşılaşılan şarkı sesi sorunlarının tespit edilmesi amacıyla yapılan bu çalışma, durum tespitine yönelik tarama modelindedir. Evren Türkiye’deki 2014-2015 akademik yılı 12 konservatuvarda şan anasanat dalında eğitim gören tüm öğrencileri kapsamaktadır. Singing Voice Handicap Index’in geçerlilik ve güvenilirliği için Türkçe’ye uyarlanmış indeks, 4 üniversiteden 73 bayan, 44 bay toplam 117 öğrenciye, daha sonra şan eğitimi alanların şarkı sesi sorunlarının belirlenmesi için diğer sekiz konservatuvarda eğitim gören 129 bayan, 122 bay toplam 251 öğrenciye uygulanarak toplam 368 öğrencinin verileri değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin, yaş, cinsiyet ve sınıf değişkenlerine göre Şarkı Sesi Sorunları değerleri arasındaki farklılıkların / arasındaki ilişkinin analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda cinsiyete göre fonksiyonel ses sorunlarında anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur (P=.022< .05). Bayanlarda fonksiyonel ses sorunları baylara oranla daha yüksektir. Diğer puan türleri için cinsiyetler arasında fark bulunmamıştır (P>.05).Yaş gruplarına göre puanlar arasında fonksiyonel ses sorunları puanı açısından 21-23 yaş arası grupta anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur (P=0.005
