In this research, it is aimed to examine the club owner/manager-coach/coach disputes, which become more visible through club acquisitions, in football, one of the most watched and income-generating sports branches in the world today, with the agency theory approach, in order to find solutions to the problems experienced in practice. It is an exploratory research in terms of research method. In the qualitative research method, which is mostly used in exploratory research, document review and content analysis were made. The data were analyzed with the inductive approach and reported descriptively. In this context, the statements of the club management-coach, who were in conflict and were in the press, were examined with the purposeful sampling method. The research is important in terms of handling the disputes previously attributed to different reasons within the scope of organization theory with the agency theory approach. In the study, 39 disputes between the years 2010-2021 were examined. It has been determined that 50% of these disputes are sporting failures, 34% are administrative disagreements between the club management and coaches, 7.5% are not paid, 7.5% are player transfers. As a result, it is seen that a significant part of the disagreements are sportive failures and administrative disagreements between club management and coaches. The lack of payments to transfers, players and coaches is another reason for the few but existing disputes. It is seen that football club managements have terminated the contracts due to these problems with the coaches. This situation is very similar to the agency theory, the relationship between football club management and coaches.
