Türkiye'de Hostilitenin Sosyodemografik Özelliklere Göre İncelenmesi

Öz

Hostilite ya da düşmanlık, kaynağını kontrol edilemeyen öfke patlamaları, kızgınlık ve saldırganlık duygularından alan zorlanmadır. Kişiyi şiddete iten psikolojik etmenler arasında en önemlilerden birisi hostilitedir.

1 Eylül 2018-9 Şubat 2019 tarihleri arasında Türkiye genelinde yürütülen, Türkiye Bağımlılık Risk Profili ve Ruh Sağlığı Haritası (TURBAHAR) çalışmasının ana hedefleri 18 yaş ve üzeri nüfusta, sigara, alkol, uyuşturucu madde kullanımı yaygınlığını saptamak; risk gruplarını belirlemek; belirtilen kimyasal ve davranışsal bağımlılıklarla ilgili olabilecek psikolojik risk faktörlerini incelemektir.

Bu çalışma ile Türkiye genelinde 24438 (12269 erkek ve 12169 kadın) kişiyle yüz yüze görüşülerek elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiştir. Katılımcılar klinik psikologların gözetimi altında, özbildirim ölçeklerini doldurmuşlardır. Hostilite skorları Kısa Semptom Envanterine ait bir alt ölçekten elde edilmiştir.
Sosyodemografik veri formuyla kişinin madde kullanımları, türleri, medeni durumu, yaşı ve cinsiyeti bilgilerine göre hostilite skorlarındaki farklılık ölçülmüştür.

Türkiye’nin ruh sağlığı alanındaki en geniş örnekleme sahip olan çalışma, hostilitenin farklı sosyodemografik özelliklerden etkilendiği, yaşla birlikte azaldığı, bağımlı yapıcı madde kullanan bireylerde yüksek olduğu gösterilmiştir. Türkiye’de şiddete dönebilecek hostilitenin yönetilmesi açısından ülke genelinde bir politika planlanabilir.

Genç yaşlardaki hostilite yüksekliğinin önüne geçilebilmesi için duygu farkındalıklarına, duygu düzenleme becerilerine yönelik eğitimlerin olması faydalı olabilir.
