This article deals with the question of
difference as a philosophical idea transferred from the context of Western
philosophy to an Arab context by practicing difference with the same idea
namely the practice of "the double difference". This
leads to put the stereotypical "arguments" on concepts such as
"quotidian" (daily) and "ordinary" in a hermeneutical
circle, as phenomena that cover and obscure the phenomenon of life in its
originality. This is metaphorically expressed by "daily life" that
represents, in the Arabic society, a symbolic distortion of morphological
structures has been reshaped by the control frameworks of cultural and
cognitive systems and their representations in everyday language, which has
allowed us to rethink the meaning that can now be attributed to the
"Arabity" of Arab society as a case of life that can be criticized
and interpreted.
