Primeri bilinmeyen küçük hücreli karsinom tanılı hastada iris ve koroid metastazı: Olgu sunumu

Öz

Beyinde multipl metastaz ön tanısı ile acil radyoterapi için İstanbul Üniversitesi Onkoloji Enstütüsü'ne sevk edilen hastanın yapılan tetkiklerinde multipl lenfadenopatiler (LAP) saptandı. İnguinal LAP'dan biri eksizyonla çıkarıldı. Yapılan histopatoloji incelemesinde nöroendokrin differansiasyonlu küçük hücreli karsinom tanısı konuldu. Kraniyal radyoterapi sonrası sistemik kemoterapi uygulanan hasta, tedaviden 13 ay sonra sağ göz iris ve koroid bölge metastazı ile yeniden kliniğimize başvurdu. Sağ orbitaya palyatif radyoterapi uygulanan hastada radyoterapiye hızlı bir yanıt alınarak başarılı palyasyon sağlandı.

Iris and choroid metastases from a patient with small cell carcinoma of unknown primary: a case report

A patient with multiple brain metastases was referred to University of İstanbul Institute of Oncology for emergency treatment of multiple brain metastases. Excisional biopsy of an inguinal lymphadenopathy showed small cell carcinoma with neuroendocrin differentiation. The patient was then received cranial irradiation and chemotherapy. Thirteen months later after initial treatment, he developed metastases of iris and choroid region of the right eye and was referred to the same clinic. After application of palliative radiotherapy to the right orbit, metastases have been regressed quickly and palliation has been obtained successfully.
