SİYASAL TEMSİL

Öz

Temsilin hem bir kavram hem de bir kurum olarak ortaya çiktigi 12. yüzyildan günümüze geçirmis oldugu anlam ve islev degisimi, onun tanimlanmasini güçlestirmekte ve bir anlam kargasasi yaratmaktadir. Diger yandan, son 30-40 yil iç inde Bati Demokrasilerinde giderek güçlenen “yeni sosyal ve siyasal hareketler”, temsili demokrasi konusunda yeni tartismalari gündeme getirmis ve temsil kavraminin yeniden irdelenmesi egilimini güç lendirmistir. Bu yazinin amaci, demokrasinin temelini olusturan “temsil” kavramini hem tarihsel hem de modern anlamlarinda irdelemek, kavrami yeniden düsünmek ve Türkçe literatüre, bu betimleyici çalismayla, küçük bir katkida bulunmaktir.
