A Macroanatomic and Morphometric Study on Auditory ossicles in Donkey (Equus Asinus)

Öz

This study was presented to determine morphometry of auditory ossicles in donkey. For this purpose, the heads of ten donkeys of both sexes (five male, five female) were used. Fifteen values were measured from auditory ossicles. Macroanatomically, it was observed that only anterior process in the neck of was existing. Morphometrically, in auditory ossicles, while there was no statistical difference in terms of sex, some values were statistically significant between two sides.

Merkepte (Equus Asinus) Ossicula auditus Üzerinde Makroanatomik ve Morfometrik Bir Çalışma

Öz

Çalışma merkeplerin ossicula auditus morfometrisini belirleme amacıyla yapıldı. Bu amaçla her iki cinsiyetten (5 adet erkek, 5 adet dişi) toplam 10 adet merkep başı kullanıldı. Ossicula auditus'tan toplam 15 adet farklı noktalar arasından ölçüm yapıldı. Makroanatomik olarak collum mallei'de sadece processus anterior'un bulunduğu gözlendi. Morfometrik olarak ossicula auditus'un cinsiyet yönünden istatistiksel fark içermediği, sağ – sol bakımından ise bazı değerlerin istatistiksel anlam taşıdığı belirlendi.
