DESIGN AND APPLICATION OF THE DOWNWARD AND UPWARD CONTINUATIONS BY THE TWO - DIMENSIONAL
WIENER FILTER TECHNIQUE
In this work, it have been shown that, it is possible to prepare and apply a new two - dimentional coefficient indeix.es for gravity and magnetic field measurements with the aid of some features of correlation functions adopted from Wiener filter technique. Taking two different mass - points •within a volum of uniform density in certain depths below the earth's surface, their effects to the surface arc computed for each point. The trwo -·dimentional downward and upward coefficient indeixes for analytical continuation in the gravity and magnetic field values have been established by the effects of gravity action of these mass - points, in a very similar way as for the digital Wiener filtering (mono - dimentional) method of seismic work. The r esultant corresponding effects in the certain continuation levels are calculated by applying these coefficient indeoces both to the geometrical structures (such as spheres, cylinders and faults ) and to the heterogeneous bodies •without certain geometrical shapes which all are taken from the certain depths. Additionaly, as a confirmatory process, the derived analytical continuation coefficients are checked by the computed theoretical values of analytical continuation. Also, to obtain some comparative ground, Peters', Fuller's and Henderson's coefficient inde:xes are applied to the given structures. The resulting estimations for the analytical continuation in the same level, thus leding to the conclution that the outcomes of the repetitive application of the new two - dimentional coefficient indexes Introduced in the present work, are better in products than . those of Fuller's and Peters' and also more economic and feasible of Henderson's.
