The Effects of the Falling Oil Prices on Russia Economy

Due to the importance of oil in the global energy market, it plays an important role in today's business life. The process of manufacturing to the use of oil; the national economy, national security and political relations between countries can be directly affected. Oil prices reflect the balance between an available supply and buyers who want to pay the price. If the oil price is too high for consumers, the economy of the exporting country begins to slow down. If prices fall, the producers are gradually reducing production. Over the term of protection in the case of situation, political, social and economic risks are increasing. In this study was aimed to investigate that the fall in oil prices which is guiding the world economy,  how it has affected on the economy of Russia which consist of the oil and natural gas exports makes up 68% of their income as of 2013.

Petrol Fiyatlarındaki Düşüşün Rusya Ekonomisi Üzerine Etkileri

Petrol, küresel enerji piyasasında sahip olduğu önem nedeniyle, günümüzün ticaret hayatında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Petrolün imalinden kullanımına kadar geçen süreç; ülke ekonomisini, ülke güvenliğini ve ülkeler arasındaki siyasi ilişkileri doğrudan etkileyebilmektedir. Petrol fiyatları, mevcut arz ile bu fiyattan ödeme yapmak isteyen alıcılar arasındaki dengeyi yansıtmaktadır. Eğer petrol fiyatı tüketiciler için çok yüksekse, ithalatçı ülkelerin ekonomisi yavaşlamaya başlar. Fiyatlar düştüğünde, üreticiler yavaş yavaş petrol üretimini azaltır. Bu durumun uzun süreli olması durumunda, siyasi, sosyal ve ekonomi riskler artmaya başlar. Bu çalışmada petrol fiyatlarında meydana gelen düşüşün, 2013 yılı itibarıyla petrol ve doğal gaz ihracatı toplam ihracat gelirinin %68’ini oluşturduğu Rusya’nın ekonomisi üzerindeki etkilerinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır.
