CERRAHİ ENDOSKOPİ ÜNİTEMİZDEKİ GASTROSKOPİK POLİPEKTOMİ SONUÇLARIMIZIN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Öz

Gastrik polipler sık rastlanan lezyonlar olmayıp, üst gastrointestinal sistemin endoskopik incelenmesinde tesadüfen saptanırlar. Malign dönüşüm gösterme özellikleri nedeniyle çıkartılması ve histopatolojik tanısının konması gerekmektedir. Bu çalışmamızda cerrahi endoskopi ünitemizde uygulanan gastroskopilerde, polipektomi sonrası sonuçlarımızın değerlendirilmesini amaçladık. İzmir Bozyaka Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi cerrahi endoskopi ünitesinde 2013 – 2014 yılları arasında 2450 hastaya gastroskopik girişimde bulunuldu. EVALUATION OF GASTROSCOPIC POLYPECTOMY RESULTS IN OUR SURGICAL ENDOSCOPY UNIT

Abstract

Polyp is a mucosa or submucosa originated tissue mass protrusion into the intestinal lumen. It is essential to excise all the polyps encountered during gastroscopy regardless of their dimensions because they are precancerous. In this study we aimed to evaluate the results after gastroscopic polypectomy in our surgical endoscopy unit. There were 2450 gastroscopic interventions in İzmir Bozyaka Education and Research Hospital between 2013 and 2014. The results of 200 patients who had undergone gastroscopic polypectomy are evaluated retrospectively. The results were processed with SPSS® ver. 21.0 Chicago IL. p
