UNUTULMUŞ DJ STENTLERDE ENKRUSTASYON OLUŞUMU: ON YIL UNUTULMUŞ DJ STENT, OLGU SUNUMU

Öz

Günümüzde endoürolojik işlemlerin yaygınlaşmasıyla birlikte dj stent kullanımı arttığından stent yan etki ve komplikasyonları sık görülmektedir. 52 yaşında erkek hasta hematüri ve dizüri şikayeti ile kliniğimize başvurdu. Yapılan tetkikler sonucu unutulmuş dj stent tespit edilen hasta URS ile traksiyon uygulanarak çıkarıldı. Dj stentin kalış süresi arttıkça komplikasyon oranıda artmaktadır. Bu komplikasyonlardan biri de enkrustasyon oluşumudur. Enkrustasyon oluşumunda üriner enfeksiyon, taş oluşumuna yatkınlık, staz, dehidratasyon etkilidir. Tedavide enkrustasyonun şiddetine ve taş oluşumuna göre ESWL, URS, PNL ve açık cerrahi girişimlere gerek duyulmaktadır

ENCRUSTATION FORMATION IN FORGOTTEN DJ STENT: TEN YEARS FORGOTTEN DOUBLE J STENT, CASE REPORT

Abstract

Nowadays, stent complications and side effects are common because of widespread use of ureteral stent due to increased endourologic process. 52-year-old man was admitted to our clinic with complaints of hematuria and dysuria. Forgotten DJ stent which is identified by investigation was removed by traction with URS. The complications increased in accordance with the duration of the stent. One of these complications is the formation of encrustation. Urinary tract infection, susceptibility to stone formation, stasis, and dehydration are the most important factors causing encrustation formation. ESWL, URS, PNL and open surgery are needed according to the severity of encrustation and stone formation
