Floride Cemento-Osseous Dysplasia: A Case Report

Öz

Florid cemento-osseous dysplasia (FSOD) is a rare lesion in the jaws. FSOD is a multifocal dysplastic lesion. It consists of bone and cement-like cellular fibrous connective tissue. It is often seen in middle aged women and maxilla-mandible areas are more affected. The etiology and pathogenesis are unknown. They are usually divided into 3 main classes according to their size and radiographic appearances: periapical (surrounds the periapical region of teeth and are bilateral), florid (sclerotic symmetrical masses) and focal (single lesion) cemental dysplasias.In this case report, a 37 years old woman ith a diagnosis of florid cemento-osseous dysplasia presented.

Öz

Florid semento-osseöz displazi (FSOD), çenelerin ender görülen bir lezyonudur. FSOD multifokal displastik bir lezyon olup, kemik ve sement benzeri hücresel lifli bağ dokusundan oluşur. Sıklıkla orta yaşlı kadınlarda görülür ve mandibula-maksilla posterior bölgeler daha çok etkilenir. Etyolojisi ve patogenezisi bilinmemektedir. Genellikle, boyutlarına ve radyografik görünümlerine bağlı olarak üç ana sınıfa ayrılırlar: periapikal (dişlerin periapikal bölgesini sarar ve bilateraldir), florid (sklerotik simetrik kitleler) ve fokal (izole tek lezyon) semental displazilerdir. Bu olgu raporunda florid semento-osseöz displazi tanısı konan 37 yaşında bir kadın hasta sunulmuştur.
