Laurencia obtusa (Hudson) J.V. Lamouroux, 1813’nın Besin İçeriğindeki Mevsimsel Değişimler

Öz

Bu çalışmada, kırmızı deniz makroalglerinden Laurencia obtusa (Hudson) J.V. Lamouroux, 1813’nın besin içeriğindeki mevsimsel değişimler ve ekolojik değişkenler ile olan ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Çalışma materyali Sinop kıyılarındaki üç farklı noktadan mevsimsel olarak toplanmıştır. Bu çalışmada kül ve yağ değerleri açısından en verimli dönemin sonbahar, protein açısından ise en verimli dönemin kış olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonbaharda saptanan ortalama kül (%26.26±6.75) ve karbonhidrat (%64.47±6.06) değerleri ile diğer mevsimlere ait değerler karşılaştırıldığında farklar istatistiksel olarak önemli bulunmuştur (p<0.05). Deniz suyunun fizikokimyasal parametreleri ile besin kompozisyonunu arasında yapılan korelasyon analizine göre fizikokimyasal parametrelerden tuzluluk, pH, iletkenlik ve yoğunluk ile sıcaklık arasında pozitif bir korelasyon olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca tuzluluk, elektriksel iletkenlik ve çözünmüş madde arasında da pozitif korelasyon gösterdiği saptanmıştır. Biyokimyasal parametrelerin korelasyonu incelediğinde sadece iletkenlik ile kül oranı arasında pozitif ve iletkenlik ile karbonhidrat oranı arasında negatif bir korelasyon tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucunda elde edilen verilerin Laurencia obtusa’nın en kullanışlı dönemlerinin tespitinde önemli bir veri kaynağı olacağı düşünülmektedir.

Seasonal Variations in the Nutritional Content of Laurencia obtusa (Hudson) J.V. Lamouroux, 1813

Öz

In this study, the relationship of Laurencia obtusa (Hudson) J.V. Lamouroux, 1813, a red marine macroalgae, with seasonal changes in nutrient content and ecological variables was investigated. The study material was collected seasonally from three different points on the Sinop coast. In this study, it was observed that the most productive period for species in terms of ash and oil values was autumn, and the most productive period in terms of protein was winter. When the mean ash (26.26±6.75%) and carbohydrate (64.47±6.06%) values found in autumn were compared with the values of other seasons, the differences were found to be statistically significant (p<0.05). According to the correlation analysis between the physicochemical parameters of sea water and the nutrient composition, a positive correlation was found between the physicochemical parameters salinity, pH, conductivity and density, and temperature. There is also a positive correlation between salinity, electrical conductivity and dissolved matter. When the correlation of biochemical parameters was examined, only a positive correlation was found between conductivity and ash ratio and a negative correlation between conductivity and carbohydrate ratio. It is thought that the data obtained as a result of this study will be an important source of data in identifying the most useful periods of Laurencia obtusa.
