Planktonik Zırhsız Dinoflagellat Ceratoperidinium falcatum (Kofoid & Swezy) Reñé&Salas, 2013 Türünün İzmir Körfezi (Ege Denizi)’ndeki İlk Üreme Kaydı

Yıl 2018, Cilt: 1 Sayı: 1, 1 - 6, 24.07.2018

Öz

Zırhsız dinoflagellat tür çeşitliliğinin belirlenmesi
amacı ile, Haziran 2017 tarihinde İzmir Körfezi’nde belirlenen üç istasyonda
örnekleme yapılmıştır. Toplanan materyalde zırhsız dinoflagellate türü olan
Ceratoperidinium falcatum türü
saptanmıştır
. Ceratoperidinium falcatum türüne
ait bolluğun 658-840 hücre L
–1 gözlendiği dönemde deniz suyu
sıcaklığı 15,0 ℃, tuzluluk ise 38,6 olarak ölçülmüştür. Hücre genişliği 23,90 –
36,60 µm, uzunluğu 92,50 – 239 µm arasında değişmektedir. Bu çalışma
Ceratoperidinium falcatum türünün İzmir
Körfezi (Ege Denizi)’ndeki ilk üreme kaydıdır ve türün morfolojik özellikleri
ile dağılımı hakkında ayrıntılı bilgi vermektedir.

First Reproduction Record of Planktonic Unarmored Dinoflagellates Ceratoperidinium falcatum (Kofoid & Swezy) Reñé & Salas, 2013 in İzmir Bay (Aegean Sea)

Yıl 2018, Cilt: 1 Sayı: 1, 1 - 6, 24.07.2018

Öz

With the aim of determining the species diversity of
unarmoured dinoflagellates, samplings were carried out from 3 stations in İzmir
Bay during June 2017. This study identified unarmoured dinoflagellat species
Ceratoperidinium falcatum from the
collected material.
Ceratoperidinium
falcatum
abundance varied from 658 to 840 cells L– 1 during this
period in sea water temperature at 15.0 ℃ and salinity of 38.6. The width of
cell varies from 23.90 to 36.60 μm and the length of cell varies from 92.50 to
239 μm. This paper reports the first bloom record of the
Ceratoperidinium falcatum species in the İzmir Bay (Aegean Sea) and
morphological characteristics of this species were given in detail information,
distrubition and original photographs.
