Onur Usta is an Associate Professor in the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the Turkish Naval Academy, National Defence University, Türkiye. His research focuses on marine propulsion, propeller hydrodynamics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and uncertainty analysis in engineering. He works particularly on cavitation physics and its engineering consequences, integrating cavitation erosion, pressure fluctuations, and underwater radiated noise within a unified hydrodynamic and numerical framework.
