COMPETENCIES OF THE DIGITAL AGE: A VIEW FROM THE FRAMEWORK OF EMPLOYEES, HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALISTS AND MANAGERS

Öz

In this article, the competencies of the digital age are examined and the question of what are the competencies of the digital age is discussed in the context of managers, human resources experts and employees and the competencies for these groups are pointed out in consideration of the literature review regarding this matter. As a result of the literature research, information analysis, digital literacy, digital emotional intelligence, tendency to self change, utilization of artificial intelligence and problem solving are among the most sought-after competencies in the digital age. What can be done to develop such like these competencies is among the discussion topics of the study.

Öz

Bu çalışmada; dijital çağa özgü işgücü yetkinlikleri incelenmekte; dijital çağın yetkinliklerinin neler olduğu sorusu yöneticiler, insan kaynakları uzmanları ve çalışanlar bağlamında ele alınmakta ve konuyla ilgili literatür taraması ışığında söz konusu gruplara özgü yetkinliklere işaret edilmektedir. Yapılan literatür araştırması sonucunda, dijital çağın en aranan yetkinlikleri arasında bilgi analizi, dijital okur yazarlık, dijital duygusal zeka, öz değişime yatkınlık, yapay zekadan yararlanma ve problem çözme gibi yetkinliklere rastlanılmaktadır. Bu ve benzeri yetkinliklerin geliştirilmesi konusunda yapılabilecekler çalışmanın tartışma konuları arasındadır.
