Futbolcularda Spor Kaygısı ve Antrenör–Sporcu İlişkisinin Değerlendirilmesi

Öz

Bu çalışmada, 18–26 yaş arası futbolcularda antrenör–sporcu ilişkisi ile spor kaygısı arasındaki ilişkiyi incelenmektedir. Çalışmaya İstanbul’daki futbol kulüplerinden toplam 159 erkek katılımcı dahil edilmiştir. Katılımcılara Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Spor Kaygısı Ölçeği-2 ve Antrenör–Sporcu İlişkisi Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Bulgular, konsantrasyon bozukluğunun antrenör–sporcu ilişkisinin alt ölçekleri ile negatif ilişki gösterdiğini ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca, spor yaralanma geçmişi olmayan katılımcılar antrenör–sporcu ilişkisinde daha yüksek puan almıştır. Sonuçlar, sporcuların kaygısını azaltmak ve artırmak için destekleyici, güvene dayalı antrenör–sporcu ilişkilerinin geliştirilmesinin önemini vurgulamaktadır.

Evaluation of Sport Anxiety and the Coach–Athlete Relationship in Football Players

Öz

This study examined the relationship between the coach–athlete relationship and sport anxiety among football players aged 18–26. A total of 159 male participants from football clubs in Istanbul participated in the study. The Personal Information Form, the Sport Anxiety Scale-2, and the Coach–Athlete Relationship Questionnaire were used. Findings indicated that concentration disruption is negatively associated with the subscales of the coach–athlete relationship. Additionally, athletes without a history of injury scored higher on the coach–athlete relationship. Differences from previous research may be attributed to variations in sport type, sample characteristics, and levels of coach support. The results highlight the importance of fostering supportive, trust-based coach–athlete relationships to reduce and enhance athletes’ anxiety.
