Leeches (hirudinea) are blood-sucking hermaphroditic parasites from the phylum Annelida, found parasitically in nature. Leeches typically inhabit spring water and contaminated puddles. Human transmission occurs through the use, drinking, or swimming in such water. They typically enter the body through the oral or nasal cavity, causing various symptoms depending on the site of attachment. In this case report, we present a rare case of a 67-year-old nasopharyngeal leech infestation.
