Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy procedure has been described for the first time by Gauderer et al. in1980 andit is performed commonly in patients having neurological disorders with comorbid chronic conditions for improving patient’s nutritional status. Complication rate of this procedure is low and while skin infections are the most commonly observed complication of this procedure; necrotizing fasciitis, colocutaneous fistula and perforation are rarely seen severe complications. In this paper, we presented “Buried bumper syndrome”, rarely seen complication after percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy with the review literature knowledge.
